The Office of Adult Students and Evening Services is fully committed to working with you to ensure your academic success! Let us help you develop your academic plan, identify interests and career goals, choose a program of study, and select resources that support student success. We are excited and available to continue working with you through advising that includes virtual and face-to-face options, drop-ins, and extended hours.


Kick-off Your Semester with Success 

1.  Check out the Academic Calendar
Summer session courses are condensed and critical deadlines will come up quickly!
2.  Review your course syllabus in Canvas
Read the syllabus for course requirements, assignment dates, and attendance policy.
3.  Order your textbooks early.
Check out the textbooks requirements in Banner and order your textbooks early.
4. Review the #KeepLearning webpage.
Be prepared for online classes.  Find information for technology, tutoring, and summer online workshops.
5.  Use the Academic Resources available at UNC Charlotte!
Take advantage of the many academic resources to help students be successful!

We’re excited to connect with you as you make plans for the coming year!  Call or email our main office to connect with an OASES advisor. 

I'm a current student. How do I meet with an advisor?

OASES advisors are here to help! We’re available by email, phone, or virtual meetings. Please visit our OASES advising services page for more information on advising hours, drop-in times, extended hours, and directions for scheduling an appointment. 

I'm not able to meet between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Does OASES offer extended hours?

Yes! OASES offers virtual extended hours until 6:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday (please check for changes in office hours during holidays and students breaks). 

Is OASES offering events for adult and non-traditional students?

Yes! We’ll be hosting virtual events during the semester to help you connect with students like you! Check out our student events page for additional upcoming events.


49er Finish Program
